Summer 2004 Madison Wind Farm (again) NY
Upstate New York about 25 miles from Utica is Madison, where there exists a wind farm with 7 turbines which generate enough electricity if going full out for 10,000 homes. Each turbine about the size of a bus and are located on towers about 150 ft high. Very interesting to be near. When going full blast all you hear is a slight whoosh. 9/22/04 |
